About Us

Dream Between the Lines is a grassroots organization dedicated to helping children impact themselves and others through literacy. We provide books for children in temporary housing so we can nurture young children as they discover their dreams. DBtL was founded by a three person team of educators from the NYC Public School system, all determined to improve the outlook of success and potential of the city’s youth through literacy.
